J.K. Rowling Almost Wiped out Hagrid, Too

It's been quite a few days for 'Harry Potter' fans. Monday wasn't just the 30th anniversary from the dying of Harry's (imaginary) parents, but additionally when author J.K. Rowling says she almost wiped out Ron Weasley before getting a big change of heart. That bloodstream-lust almost extended to Rubeus Hagrid too. Say it ain't so, J.K.! It is so. Within an interview around the Blu-ray discharge of 'Harry Potter and also the Deathly Hallows Part 2' with star Daniel Radcliffe, Rowling describes that they loved the thought of Hagrid transporting Harry at the start and finish from the story, a bookend that stored the gentle giant "safe." Per Rowling, your preferred bearded gameskeeper would be a "natural" choice to be slain otherwise. Yikes! Around the switch side, Rowling would keep Remus Lupin alive, but recognized that throughout an excellent war, atrocities like new parents getting wiped out is frequently reality. As a result, Lupin and Nymphadora Tonks were casualties within the Fight of Hogwarts. Hashtag: tears. [via EW] [Photo: Warner Bros.] Follow Moviefone on Twitter Like Moviefone on Facebook RELATED
