Santa Barbara fest to fete Scorsese

ScorseseMartin Scorsese will get the Santa Barbara Intl. Film Festival's American Riviera Award, established to identify an important artist in U.S. cinema.The "Hugo" director and film historian is going to be honored Jan. 30 in the Arlington Theater. It's the very first time a helmer has gotten the award, that has formerly attended Annette Bening, Sandra Bullock and Mickey Rourke.Festival runs Jan. 26-February 5.
